FAQ
How does a guided takeout crawl work?
One of our Homecoming team members will take you on an outdoor guided crawl through the neighborhood and stop to pick up takeout dishes at each of our partner restaurants. We ask that you will arrive and check in within 10 minutes of your crawl tine to ensure an on-time departure. Each group is limited to a maximum of 15 participants for an intimate experience.
Where do we meet?
A couple of days before the crawl date, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on the meet-up location along with other important information that you will need.
WHAT IF I MISS MY Timed Entry?
It’s important for our guide, your group, and our restaurants that you arrive and check in within 10 minutes of your crawl time. Our restaurant partners work hard to freshly prepare the exact amount of dishes for our participants, so being late will be a burden on their workload. If you are no longer able to make the event, we will not be able to refund your order.
How long is the crawl? Is it accessible?
Each crawl is set up to last roughly 1 hour. The walking distance of each crawl will vary with each neighborhood (roughly a total of 1 mile). We do our best to design the crawl to begin and end near train stations that are ADA accessible. If you wish to attend the crawl and need assistance, please contact us and we’ll work to accommodate your participation.
ARE THERE VEGETARIAN or VEgAN Options?
Vegetarian/vegan crawl options will vary with each neighborhood. Currently, our Jackson Heights crawl has a 100% Vegetarian menu option.
is there a halal option?
We are happy to accommodate requests for Halal options for our Jackson Heights crawl. Please contact us to make this request.
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We are adhering to city, state, and CDC guidelines for outdoor events. We provide updates to all participants with specific guidelines before each crawl.
